Bio

Born and raised in Newnan, Georgia, Josh Hand started his photographic endeavors back in a basic film photography course during his senior year of high school in 2012. The developing process and the love of the darkroom cemented his admiration for a well-taken photograph. When Josh needed to take a college level film photography course, he retained his respect for the film process and found himself exploring his own unique style. Continuing through his collegiate career, photography was chosen as his academic focus, and even became the intern for Columbus State University's Photography Department. During his final semester, he also worked as the assistant to the Photography professor Rylan Steele. As he continues to explore the medium, and having started his journey through digital media, he aspires to acquire his film certificate through the Georgia Film Academy and then on to Graduate school to earn his Masters in Film.
